National Testing Service NTS
National testing service was founded in 2006 for testing, measurement and research for educational purposes. National Aptitude test (NAT) and Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) are the two main types of tests conducted by NTS. NAT is aimed to test the capabilities of students who want to take admission in different schools and colleges while GAT is for the admission of graduate students in postgraduate classes. The service also conducts several other tests for filling the posts of several public and semi public organizations. Several reputable institutes including COMSATS, BZU Multan and Center for Advance Studies in Engineering (CASE) have made it compulsory for the desired students to pass NTS test for getting admissions in these institutes.
NTS issues the dates of different tests including NAT, GAT and other admission tests few days before the start of the exams at its official site. Interested candidates register themselves for the exams and they are given roll numbers by the NTS for exams. Later, exams of the registered candidates are held according to the schedule. Just after few days of the exams, NTS announces the results of the exams which are available at site. Students can view their results by entering their roll numbers at the given place. After passing in NTA test, it becomes easy for the students to get admissions in the institutes and universities affiliated with NTS.
It is recommended for the students to prepare for NTS tests especially GAT and NAT by using model papers and past papers. Model papers are made according to the latest types of paper pattern and syllabus adopted by the board while these model papers are issued by NTS for the convenience of students and can be downloaded from the official site of the board. Students should also use past papers of NTS which help them to get good marks in the exams by knowing the types of questions used in the tests by NTS. Past papers of different NTS tests including NAT and GAT can be purchased from market without any difficulty.
